Interim Pastorate

Over the course of 30 years, I have served as Interim Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Lake Brownwood (one year), Southside Baptist Church of Brownwood, Texas (17 months), the Park View Baptist Church of San Saba, Texas (three months), and the Grosvenor Baptist Church. I have also trained numerous Pastor Search Teams during the pastor search process and am available with materials to speak to and train the Pastor Search Teams. I have filled the church pulpit in the Pastor’s absence over 400 times in various churches throughout Texas and have conducted Deacon and Pastor Ordinations on numerous occasions, including chairing the presbytery (ordination council) and questioning of ordination candidates.
